The School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences is at the forefront of higher education in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Forensic Science, Chemistry and related areas, and has excellent working relationships with law enforcement agencies, pharmaceutical providers, the NHS and industry. We are looking for a highly professional, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team.
You will have a PhD in Bioscience/Biotechnology or a relevant scientific discipline, together with proven research and teaching experience in an appropriate area of Biotechnology. Additional experience in fermentation technology would also be desirable.
You will be expected to contribute to the teaching and administration of the School’s Foundation, BSc and MSc Biotechnology programmes, as well as other relevant undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will complement existing research/teaching activities in the above area within the school.
You will be encouraged to develop your own research in conjunction with other members of the School, utilising the world-class research facilities available in the Life Science Building as well as in the James Parsons Building.
